Allied Construction of Charles City, Iowa was founded in the post World War II era and officially incorporated in 1958. The company, like many of its time, began with a truck and a hard-working, entrepreneurial spirit. The heart of the company has been the concrete paving business. In the early years, Allied established itself by completing curb and gutter projects as well as small concrete paving projects. Over the years, we have acquired portable ready-mix concrete paving plants and slip-form paving equipment. The modern Allied Construction Company employs 45 people within our paving division and has become part of the Iowa municipal paving and regional airport paving market.
